“I DON’T WALK, I FLY”-by Kev Choice, directed by Samm Styles and Brian Storm
Kev Choice hits us with his “debut” video, “I Don’t Walk, I Fly,” the artist’s self-proclaimed motto. The song was recorded during his “Daily Dosage” series — also known as his song a day series — for which he completed and uploaded 60 songs in 60 days made available to fans as free downloads on his website during that period.
The video for “I Don’t Walk, I Fly,” captures Kev Choice in his most comfortable and natural settings — in the studio, on the piano, on the mic, and out and about soaking up the vibes and beauty of his hometown Oakland, California and the San Francisco Bay Area. On the meaning of the song, Kev Choice expresses “I don’t have time to walk and get to my goals and destinations in life, its time to fly!”
Receiving accolades from fans and media alike, the SF Weekly paper reported that the series “gives Bay Area concerns a beat” and “remains the Bay’s dedicated resource for musical coverage of timely events and attitudes…”
This incredibly well-rounded MC/Pianist/Producer also has an impressive resume as an in-demand Keyboardist for Dwele, The Martin Luther Experience, Too $hort, Goapele and (formerly) Lauryn Hill and DJ Quick. His resume demonstrates that he is on a mission to continuously take his craft to a higher level and elevate his game.
